Weidendamm Brücke Berlin
On 1 May 1945, this bridge, the Weidendammer Brücke, was the site of one of the last assaults of the German Third Reich.
The mass assault by hundreds SS soldiers, Wehrmacht soldiers and civillians were led by a Tiger tank. The tank broke through the barricade but was destroyed by an AT grenade. Many soldiers and civillians behind the tank were killed.
