This casemate is constructed in 1935 as part of the Secteur fortifié de Montmédy.
The armament consisted of two twin machine guns and a 47mm anti-tank gun.
The casemate had three fixed turrets, namely a GFM turret for observation and close defense and two turrets for an Arme Mixte (two machine guns and a 25mm anti-tank gun).
On the night of June 12, 1940, the casemate was evacuated and the occupation left for Montmédy and further south.
