German-Soviet War Cemetery Kudirkos Naumiestis

The cemetery of Kudirkos Naumiestis contains a plot with the graves of 2,520 Soviet soldiers and officers of the 33th army. Among them are 7 Heroes of the Soviet Union. Next to this plot is another plot with 392 German war graves from the Second World War. This is one of the few places where Germans and Soviets are buried next to each other.
