The memorial is created out of bricks and a remaining of the crashed Lancaster bomber at 23 June 1943 near Bunningen. The memorial is located near the Van Heemstraweg, at the hight of the H. Corneluis church in Beuningen.
The text on the memorial reads:
This propeller is the sad remaining
of an English Lancaster-bomber
which crashed 23-6-'43 in Beuningen.
Six R.A.F.-heroes died by this crash:
P/O T.B. Tomkins - Sgt. R.B. Cooper
Sgt. J. Osbborne - Sgt. V. Sugden
Sgt. E. Smith - Sgt. R.A. Waterhouse
We honor this heroes and all citizen
who gave their lives for our freedom
1940-1945 Beuningen 17-9-1950.'
