Resistance and Deportation History Centre Lyon

The museum is located in the former military health college, which itself was used as Gestapo headquarters following the move from the Hotel Terminus by Perrache station in June 1943. Exhibitions are held in the cellars which once housed the Gestapo's prisoners. The Gestapo remained here until Allied bombing on 26th May 1944 forced them to move to a building situated on the corner of the Place Bellecour and Rue Alphonse Fochier.
