Memorial Crash Lancaster Mk.l R5748 ZN-R

The "William A. J. Fuller" monument hangs in the hall of MFC It Werflân.
The memorial is a propeller blade of the Lancaster Mk.l R5748 ZN-R of the 106 Squadron that crashed on 27-07-1942 between Rottevalle and Opeinde. Three crew members were killed, they are buried in the Protestant cemetery in Opeinde. A crew member, William Fuller is missing, this memorial is named after him in tribute.
