Polish Memorial Protestant Cemetery Nieuw Scheemda

On the Protestant Cemetery near the church in Nieuw Scheemda was one Polish War Grave.
This is the grave of:

Jan Dobras (as J. Do Bras), KIA Polish Inf. Bn, 6087, died 15-04-1945.

Jan Dobras is now buried in Breda on the Polish field of honor (grave B.5.11). He was killed in action at 't Waar near Nieuw-Scheemda on April 15, 1945. He was born at Raduczyce on Februari 19, 1905 and was 40 years old. His grave memorial was kept at this cemetery on request of the residents of Nieuw-Scheemda, as a permanent commemoration of him.
