Five Commonwealth airmen are buried in Zuilichem General Cemetery. They formed the crew of the Halifax MK III MZ503 of RCAF 420 Sqdn that crashed in this area on 25-4-1944:

Pilot Officer (W.Op/Air Gnr.) William Murphy, RCAF, J/22084, 23 years
Flying Officer (Air Bomber) Alfred Samuel Redmonds, RCAF, J/28213, 23 years
Flying Officer (Pilot) Davd Douglas Watterson, RCAF, J/20177, 24 years
Warrant Officer (Nav. Bomber) Edward Victor Webb, R/114846, 21 years
M. Cassidy, RCAF, he survived the crash but is buried here with his comrades in 1985.
