Memorial Cross Crew Mosquito Mosquito HJ644
Memorial Cross for Squadronleader Ernest William Kinchin & Flight Lieutenant Douglas Sellors, KIA on 21th April 1944. 239 RAF Squadron Mosquito HJ-644 crashed after an attack of a German nightfighter. Both crewmembers are buried at Rusthof General Cemetery, Amersfoort (Leusden). Originally the monument was a white cross. The serial number of the aircraft is incorrectly displayed on the information panel.
