Commonwealth War Grave St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery

Able Seaman Silvester Woolaghan (23) is buried at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic cemetery in Frizington. He was part of the crew of aircraft carrier HMS Dasher, which sunk on 27 March 1943 after an internal explosion. 379 crewmembers were killed.
