Commonwealth War Graves Husby Ulfborg

Husby cemetery contains two graves from the Second World War and one grave from the First World War. These graves belong to:

Sgt Brain Frederick Woods, RAF service no 1881002, age: 20 years, date of death 9 February 1945. Woods was a crew member of Halifax MZ342 (DT-B) of 192sqn. After a night-time collision on 9 February 1945 with Lancaster PD376, the MZ342 ended up in the North Sea.
Able Seaman Gordon Henry Smith, service no C/LDX5223, Age: 22, Death date 10 June 1944. Smith was crew member of H.M.S. Pintail which sank due to an acoustic mine.
Private D. Johnson, service no CH/5683, age 45, date of death 22 September 1914, Johnson was crew member of H.M.S. Cressy which was sunk by a German U-boat.

Also buried in the same row are 2 of the H.M.S. Medora sunk on 21 October 1857.
