Memorial Stone Battle Ship 'Scharnhorst'

This memorial commemorates the victims of the German battle ship 'Scharnhorst', that was sunk on 26 December 1943 during the sea battle of North Cape. Of the 1,968 soldiers and officers on board, only 36 men survived.
