Addu Atoll Memorial

This memorial commemorates 70 soldiers of India, who died here between 1942 and 1944, due to accidents or the bad circumstances on this base.

THOSE COMMEMORATED HERE DIED IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY. THE MORTAL REMAINS OF SOME WERE COMMITTED TO FIRE AND OTHERS LIE BURIED ELSEWHERE ON ADDU ATOLL
