Commonwealth Aalst

Aalst Communal Cemetery contains six Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. The graves are in the Belgian pelouse d'honneur and bear the same headstone as the Belgian war graves.

The cemetery of Aalst contains three French war graves, two of the First World War and one of the Second World War.
These are the graves of DUCHESNE Joseph, Aalst 25 October 1914, MAYNARD Jean, Aalst 24 November 1918 and MARCHAL Albert, Aalst 15 May 1940.

Aalst Communal Cemetery contains Belgian War Graves of the Second World War.

The memorial at the cemetery of Aalst commemorates five resistance fighters who were executed in the concentration camp Brandenburg-Görden. It concerns DE COCK Edmond, 22 November 1943; GOVAERT Armand, 10 December 1943; ERNST Edouard, 22 November 1943; DESHOMMES Gustaaf, 22 November 1943; MATTHIEU Henri, 22 November 1943.
The monument contains ashes of the concentration camp Brandenburg-Görden.

The cemetery of Aalst contains two plots with graves of civilian war victims of the First and the Second World War.
