Gorgopotamos Bridge

150 Greek partisans and a group of British SOE officers attacked the Gorgopotamos bridge. This attack is called Operation Harling. There partisans were from the resistance movements ELAS and EDES (who weren't agree with each other). During the attack, 2 piers were destroyed. Today, the consequences from the attack are still visible: the piers are replaced by iron piers.
