Memorials Crash 3 October 1943
These two plaques are commemorating four French airmen shot above Paris on 3 October 1943 in their Douglas A-20 Havoc bomber. The plane crashed against the Pont de Tolbiac in an effort to evade the city centre of Paris. All crew members were killed in action.
