Memorial Battle of Rozan & Liberation (T-34/85 Tank)

This memorial commemorates the Battle of Różan (4 - 6 September 1939). During the battle, a German panzer division was stopped for an entire day and night by a small Polish garrison, divided in three pre-war forts. The memorial also commemorates the liberation of Różan in 1944 by the Red Army.
