Russian Casemate Kommunarka (Moscow)

During the Battle of Moscow (1941-1942), this bunker was part of the Moscow Defence Zone. The memorial next to the bunker contains the following inscription:

"In 1941, here was the south western border of the Moscow Defence Zone."
