Mass Grave Polish Soldiers Bressuire

This grave contains the remains of nine Polish soldiers who were killed in a traffic accident.

On February 16, 1940, nine Polish soldiers from the Bressuire training center were killed at 6 am in Les Sicaudières on the road to Nantes, by a truck that rumbled down the icy slope and hit about twenty men.
