Memorial Aryanization Universities

Because of racial and political reasons, since 1933 many professors, lecturers, assistants and students of the universities and colleges in Germany, including the RWTH in Aachen, were abandoned. In total, up to 1938 a third of the staff and students were removed from the universities and colleges.

Leter, many of them were persecuted and murdered.

The plaque is part of the project "Wege Gegen Das Vergessen" (Ways Against Forgetting).
