Memorial History of Newhaven

Memorial with some highlights of the history of Newhaven. Amongst others, it's mentioned that Newhaven was protectd by a replica of the Harbour Lighting System set up at Cuckmere haven. Other fact mentioned is that in 1944 a barge containing 180 tonnes of high explosives struck a mine and created the largest bang ever to be heard in Sussex.
