Memorial Luftwaffe Aircrew

In the Shoreham Aircraft Museum is a Plaque to commemorate the killed German Luftwaffe aircrew. The text is:

IN MEMORY OF GERMAN AIRCREW OF THE LUFTWAFFE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN AIR OPERATIONS OVER THE BRITISH ISLES BETWEEN OCTOBER 1939 AND MARCH 1945
MÖGEN SIE IN FRIEDEN RUHEN
MAY THEY REST IN PEACE
