Jewish Memorial Hellum

The war memorial is a reminder of 12 Jewish inhabitants of Hellum who were killed in Auschwitz during the Second World War.

There are two plaques on the memorial.

The first plaque reads:

The second plaque lists the names of the twelve victims:

Jetta Bollegraaf-Lezer born 16-01-1895 died 22-10-1943
Elsien Bollegraaf born 27-05-1920 died 22-10-1943
Antje Bollegraaf born 12-03-1924 died 22-10-1943
