Close to the monument are 2 benches with the inscription:
"44th Royal-tank-regiment" and "101-airborne"
On 25 September 2009, additional names of 29 people who were killed in Nuenen in the Second World War were added to the monument, on a separate plaque, due to research of Foppe de Lang.
