Memorial Russian 3rd Battalion (306th Infantry Division)

This memorial commemorates the 3rd Battalion of the 935th Infantry Regiment belonging to the 306th Infantry Division who fought here in 1944. The text on the memorial stone reads:

"At this site, the 3rd Battalion of the 935th Infantry Regiment belonging to the 306 Infantry Division fought here to the death and repulsed an enemy tank assault between 16-17 August 1944."
