Waldfriedhof cemetery in Aachen contains a number of family-graves with a remembrance-text for a in World War II fallen member of the family who is missing or buried elsewhere.
On the war grave of Peter Brammertz, who died in 1927 because of World War I, on the World War I-plot of honour on the Forest Cemetery, is a remembrance text for his wife Barbara Brammertz. At the age of 49, she was executed by the Nazi-regime in Plötzensee in Berlijn, on 18 August 1944.
