This kiosk, on a small square called Anna-Sittarz-Platz, was in the Nazi-era in use by Anna Sittarz who used it as resistance post. Through her involvement, she was repeatedly convicted and put in prison. She survived the Nazi-era, but was killed in a car accident on 24 April 1945.
The plaque is part of the project "Wege Gegen Das Vergessen" (Ways Against Forgetting).
