Memorial "The Past is Present"

The memorial "The Past is Present (Vergangenheid ist Gegenwart)" is a route from the station of Pirna to Sonnenstein, where the murder of nearly 15,000 people took place.

The route is marked with 16 glass plates (Denkzeichen) with on each one a word or phrase that displays a part of the murder process and led to thinking.

On the website the route is shown and there is detailed information of each plate.
