At this place was a wooden barrack of the ecclesial community. From April 1941 to November 1941 it was used as forced labor camp for over 50 Jewish men and 3 Jewish women, who were housed in appalling omstandiheden.
In November 1941, the Jews were deported to Stolberg and then to the extermination camps.
The plaque is part of the project "Wege Gegen Das Vergessen" (Ways Against Forgetting).
