Memorial Soviet POW’s and Forced Labourers

Heidefriedhof Cemetery in Dresden contains the central memorial to commemorate the hundreds of Soviet prisoners of war and forced labourers who died in Dresden.

The memorial contains sand of their burial ground, which are on several other cemeteries in Dresden. The statues of lying human bodies covered with sheets are very impressive.
