In 1943, this battery near Trondheim was equipped by the Germans with the C-turret (Cäsar) of the Gneisenau. The German used POW's from Yugoslavia for the construction of the tower. Many of these forced laborers died because of the extreme working conditions.
The battery today:
The Cäsar-gun turret is still existing today. Nowadays the battery is a museum.
