This Memorial commemorates three Dutch Soldiers who were killed on 14 may 1940.

The Memorial was erected in 1941. Later on a plate with the names of the residents of Schelluinen who were killed in the Second World War, was placed behind the memorial.
It is now the War Memorial of Schelluinen.

One of the names on the monument, Jan Steenbruggen (mistakenly as Steenbrugge on the monument) can be seen in the fourth photo.
