This railway viaduct over the valley of Falkenbach was blown up by the Germans on 12 September 1944. By U.S. engineer units, the bridge was repaired and it could be used again from 14 February 1945 on.
In 1959 the bridge was strengthened, but the bridge looks exactly as it did after the repair in 1945.
