The memorial can be found near the Osdorperweg in Amsterdam, at the crossing with the Luktemeerweg.

Another plaque reminds us of the young pilot Dover Fleming, who crashed on October 8, 1943 with his plane, a P-47 Thunderbolt.
The aircraft was attacked by fighters, while on a mission to escort B-17s attacking at Bremen, Germany and crashed into the Zuider Zee (Ijsselmeer) near Amsterdam, Holland.
