Jewish War Grave The Hague

The Old Jewish Cemetery of The Hague contains the grave of Marianne Rachel Moresco-Henriques de Castro who perished in Westerbork. The grave is registered with the Dutch War Graves Foundation.

This old Jewish cemetery from 1694 is located near the Peace Palace. More than 10,000 people are buried here. However, for various reasons, there are only 2,860 inscribed headstones. (In Hebrew, Portuguese and Spanish). The cemetery is a national monument and can be visited by appointment only. The entrance is near the old tollbooth.
