The Memorial du débarquement en Provence museum is located on a hill (500 meters) and stands on a prime location with an amazing view.
The museum focuses on the liberation of Provence, where the Operation Dragoon had main theme.
There are few original material present and the explanation is almost solely in French. Outside the museum a Sherman tank, a German anti-tank gun and an anti-air gun can be found.
The museum is accessible by a cable way or with a car through a very narrow road with hairpin (unidirectional). Once you're there, you can't only enjoy the museum, but also the great views.
