Memorial Stone 35th "Maxim Gorky-II" Coastal Battery
This memorial stone is dedicated to the garrison of the 35th Coastal battery during the siege of Sevastopol (1941-1942). The following text can be read on the stone:
"The 35th coastal battery fired its powerful guns in support of the sefenders during the heroic defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942. During the last days of the defense, the battery was the headquarters of the Sevastopol defense area."
