Belgian War Graves Churchyard Teuven

In the cemetery near the church of Teuven, 3 soldiers are buried and 5 soldiers are commemorated on the monument. Among the graves are also those of the veterans of war.

Buried are

GERARDS Frans, age 25, from Teuven, soldier in the 1st Line Regiment, died in captivity in Halberstadt (Germany) on July 11, 1940.

HOUBEN Chrétien, age 35, from Teuven, soldier with the 21st Linieregiment, killed in captivity at Loyers on May 12, 1940.

POSSEN Mathieu, 20 years old, from Aubel (born in Teuven) , soldier of the 20 artillery regiment, killed on May 10, 1940 at Riemst.


On the monument

CRUTZEN Alphonse, age 22, from Teuven, soldier with the 11th Line Regiment, killed during the siege of fort Évergnée-Tignée at Évegnée.

MARTIN Narcisse, age 28, from Teuven, Lieutenant in the 10th Line Regiment, killed in action at Nieuwpoort on January 2, 1915.
