Arno Kaufmann (born 1899, murdered in Riga)
Ernst Salomon (born 1926, murdered in Lodz on 6-10-1943)
Frieda Salomon (born 1887, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Max Salomon (born 1882, murdered in Lodz on 19-5-1942)
Cilla Schmidt (born 1941, murdered in Lodz on 4-1-1942)
Rachel Schmidt (born 1901, murdered in Chelmno in 1942)
Sonja Schmidt (born 1925, murdered in Chelmno in 1942)
Max Simons (born 1887, murdered in Riga)
Cilla Sotaschinsky (born 1941, faith unknown)
Julius Stein (born 1876, murdered in Theresienstadt on 6-11-1942)
Ludwig Uffenheimer (born 1889, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)

The small copper plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.

In many other cities, mainly in Germany but also in other European countries, the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
