German War Cemetery Bastia

This German war cemetery contains 811 graves of the Second World War. There are also 28 graves of German POW’s who died in the First World War. The German war graves of the whole island were brought together on this cemetery.

Most graves were from September and October 1943, when there were heavy fights on the island.
