These memorial stones (so called Stolpersteine of stumbling blocks) commemorate:
Adolf Günter (born 1878, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Klara Klebe (born 1890, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Margot Minna Klebe (born 1926, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Hedwig Krekler (born 1880, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Rael Lohn (born 1885, murdered in Chelmno in September 1942)
Berta Metzger (born 1926, fled out of Germany)
Blümchen Metzger (born 1889, murdered in Chelmno in September 1942)
Ernst Metzger (born 1921, faith unknown)
Max Metzger (born 1890, murdered in Lodz on 5-9-1942)
Max Meyerbach (born 1894, murdered in Riga)
Ruth Meyerbach (born 1905, murdered in Riga)
Paula Rubinstein (born 1876, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)
Hedwig Zilverschmit (born 1895, murdered in Chelmno in May 1942)

The small copper plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.

In many other cities, mainly in Germany but also in other European countries, the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
