Memorial St. Joris and the Dragon

The memorial is called "St. Joris en de Draak" (St. Joris and the Dragon). It is a bronze statue and was created by N. Steenbergen.

The text on the statue:
1940-1945

St. Joris has been moved in april 2005 from it's orginal location at the September '44 Platsoen (photo 5) to the Hortensiapark (photo1,2), close to the St. Josef Remembrance Chapel.
