German War Graves Riga Forest Cemetery

Between 1941 and 1944, 6,600 German soldiers were buried on this location. After the war, the war cemetery was reused as a civilian cemetery.

To commemorate the German soldiers who are still buried here, a memorial was build in the civil cemetery. It contains in a book the names of those buried here. Their names are also written on columns on Beberbeki war cemetery.
