These memorial stones (so called Stolpersteine of stumbling blocks) commemorate:
Samuel Cohen (born 1882, murdered in Minsk)
Adele Cohen (born 1885, murdered in Minsk)
Albert Cohen (born 1925, murdered in Minsk)
Henny Fink (born 1921, murdered in Minsk)
Jeannette Fink (born 1889, murdered in Minsk)
Ursula Fink (born 1921, murdered in Minsk)
Henriette Herz (born 1874, murdered in Treblinka)
Martin Herz (born 1868, murdered in Treblinka)
Calmer Wallheimer (born 1868, murdered in Theresienstadt on 21-10-1942)
Julie Wallheimer (born 1868, murdered in Theresienstadt on 10-12-1942)

The small brass plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were persecuted or murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.

In many other cities, mainly in Germany but also in other European countries, the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
