Shelters 3rd Czechoslovak Independent Brigade
The staff of the 3rd Czechoslovak Independent Brigade where stationed in these dugouts during the entire Dukla operation in 1944. This army unit was a component of the Czechoslovak 1st Army who suffered great losses in the Dukla pass. 6,500 Czechoslovakian soldiers died in this area.
