Commonwealth War Graves Byker & Heaton Cemetery

Byker & Heaton Cemetery in Newcastle-upon-Tyne contains 158 scattered First World War burials. In the early months of the Second World War, ground was set aside in the centre of the cemetery for service war burials but this was comparatively little used and there are only 25 graves here. The rest of the 113 Second World War burials are scattered throughout the cemetery.
