Memorial "Warschau" Concentration Camp

Between July 1943 and August 1944, the concentration camp "Warschau" stood here, a labor camp established on the orders of Heinrich Himmler. The camp was part of the Konzentrationslager Warschau, which consisted of several units spread across Warsaw. It is estimated that 20,000 people died here. The victims were murdered both in and around the camp.

The monument commemorates 200,000 victims of the camp. This figure is factually incorrect.
