Memorial Destroyed Mill "Ken U Zelven"

On 18 April 1945, the mill "Ken U Zelven (Know thyself)" was blown up by retreating German troops, to avoid the use by the Allies as a lookout. A few days later, the mill of Woudrichem and two churches in Werkendam were also destroyed.

At the site of the ruined mill is now a millstone commemorating.
