Hermann Lange (born 1912, executed in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 10-11-1943)
Eduard Müller (born 1911, executed in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 10-11-1943)
Johann Odenthal (born 1896, executed in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 12-4-1944)
Johannes Prassek (born 1911, executed in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 10-11-1943)
Rudolf Schöning (born 1882, died after imprisonment on 9-9-1942)
Karl Friedrich Stellbrink (born 1894, executed in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 10-11-1943)
Walter Wicke (born 1909, suicide in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 29-4-1934)
Walerjan Wróbel (born 1925, murdered in Untersuchungsgefängnis Hamburg on 25-8-1942)
The small brass plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were persecuted or murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.
In many other cities, mainly in Germany but also in other European countries, the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
