Volkspark Friedrichshain

The Volkspark Friedrichshain was erected between 1846 and 1848. In 1941, two large bunkers were constructed here. The park was completely destroyed during the Second World War and the two bunkers were blown up shortly after the war. These bunkers were covered with sand and debris.
